| The M19 stripped of all sides and covers. Note the chains hanging down ahead of and behind the wheel. They were for holding the ski ,when inverted, for storage and use as a wheel fender . |
| First conceived as a rescue vehicle the M7 needed somewhere to carry the injured and attendants. The M19 was equiped with an insulated tarp and gas burning heater There was room enough for two litters and several ambulatory patients. The trailer was equiped with skis and wheels for use as the ground cover dictated. |
| In keeping with the military's need for vehicles to provide multi functions, the M19 was equiped to haul an aircraft engine warmer. There were holes in the tarp for exhaust pipes and tie downs for the unit itself. |
