When you are disabled
Theres beauty you see
That others can not possibly
The world is different
From a bed or a chair
A healthy person takes it for granted, unaware.

When you are in pain and full of despair
You have to praise God
That at least your still here
To see the beauty of Gods green earth
The mountains, the clouds, the beach and more

Even though I can't climb, hike or ski
I can see the beauty of the sea
I can put it on canvas, paper or script
The beauty of Gods earth
Is seen much differently

Gifts are given to those disabled
We open our eyes to a much different table
We have to cope with what Gods given us
And shed a different light on the world around us
We may be disabled but we can still see
And we make a difference remarkably
