Dec 3, 2002: Well, we're close enough now that our next picture could very well be of the baby OUTSIDE of Kim. Time will tell. In other news, Lamaze class has been...well, educational, informative and relaxing...ZZZZzzzzzz... I guess those relaxation techniques really do work...snorkgz.... Oh, and thank you everyone for the wonderful gifts!! So now is this the part where we're supposed to feel prepared?
Nov 5, 2002: Lamaze class starts this week; it's a joint mom/dad deal. The baby's room has borders on the walls (thanks Mom and Kel!) and a crib is already set up (thanks Alex and Martha!). We're gettin' VERY excited!!
Oct 4, 2002: The third trimester has officially begun! Kim's belly is karate central...
Sep 1, 2002: Ok, enough requests have come in for pictures of Kim, so here you go. There wasn't enough of a difference between July and August to post August's pic. More will come over the next 3 months (omigosh...3?! better get that room going!) :-)
Aug 24, 2002: We were at the State Fair today and Kim felt her first actual kick! She said it was a much more pronounced movement than just a flutter.
Aug 17, 2002: Kim is "showing" a little more every day - this morning I asked if she could still see her toes...nope! With her feet together, her toes are blocked by our kiddo!
Aug 7, 2002: Kim told me she was feeling more flutters, so I put my hand on her belly for a while. After a few minutes, Kim and I jumped at the same time - I felt one of our baby's flutters, too!
Aug 1, 2002: Kim felt her first flutter today!
July 31, 2002: We had our ultrasound appointment today. Now, this is not with 100% conviction that we say this, but it looks like we're going to have a baby girl! The ultrasound technician gave us an assurance of 80%. :-) |
