Materials needed: #1, #0 Knitting needles, tapesty needle, small snap, #10 crochet cotton( color of your choice, or 5 complimentary colors)
With #1 needles and color A, cast on 65 sts.
Color Blue=A, Cream=B, Pink=C, Yellow=D, White=E
Knit one row
1. Right side-:K2,*p1, k3, rep from* to last 3 sts, p 1, k2
2. P2, *k1, p3; rep from * to last 3 sts, k1, p2
3. K2tog, yo, *p1, yo, k3tog, yo; rep from * to last 3 sts, p1, yo, k2tog.
4. K1, *p3, k1; rep from* to end break color A
5.With color B, p1, *k3, p1; rep from* to end
6. Rep row 4
7. P1, *yo, k3tog, yo, p1, rep from * to end
8. Rep row 2 Break color B
Using color C, Rep rows 1-4
Using color D, Rep rows 5-8
Break color D off, join white, work in stockinette st for 2 rows ending on a P row
K2tog across, k last st (33sts)
P next row
Switch to #0 needles, *K 3, k2tog* rep (* *) across (27 sts)
Work in stockinette st till piece measures 2¼" for ankle length, or 2½" for longer dress, ending on a P row
---Armholes--
K5, bind off 3 sts, k11, bind off 3 sts, k5
K5, cast on 3 sts, k11, cast on 3 sts, k5
Knit one row, bind off in knit
Sew up seam leaving ½" opening at neck, sew snap in place, decorate dress using ribbons, flowers, rhinestones, etc.
