TRAINING
These are various pictures taken from ROTC and National Guard training.  We did some fairly "hooah" stuff that kept us on our feet.
Sighting in on an OPFOR (Opposing Forces) during 'Squad Sticks' at Ft. Lewis, WA.  OPFOR were used frequently to make simulated combat more realistic.
Another 'familiarization' lesson with the M249 SAW. 
This was our ride out of the boonies.  Insertion/evac by Chinook was quite an adventure. 
Our team set the record for the 9th Regiment 'Manchus' on the Audie Murphy Assault Course at Ft. Lewis, WA.  L-R:  Shipper, Kelley, Lytton, McCowan,and Kelly.
