Grow Good Foods Frequently Asked Questions:
What Is The Texas Raised-Intensive Method?:
Modern day agriculture practices a method called "Row Planting". This method is not economical (in the short or long term), encourages weed growth, soil compaction, soil depletion and eventual desertification. The Texas Raised-Intensive Method is a soil building method that was developed to conserve water, eliminate petroleum-based fertilizer run-off, and optimize food harvest all within the 12 month growing season that Texas experiences. Grow Good Foods offers many options to the general public. Each one is specialized to the individual (or group) and the land in question. Some people have existing raised beds and need consultation to improve water conservation and self-sustaining techniques that the Texas Raised-Intensive Method offers. Others request having one or several Grow Good Foods Gardens constructed completely from scratch by us on top of an existing "Row Planting" garden or even somewhere in their backyard. Regardless of what your individual needs may be, Grow Good Foods will teach, show and help you to grow good foods for the rest of your life in a very feasible, inexpensive, and long-term enviromentally friendly way. Call, write or email us today to set an appointment or answer any questions you may have about your Grow Good Foods Garden!
