Biography
I am an Active Duty United States Marine and have been enlisted since 1995 in the infantry (0311/0369).   My duties have included: Marine Corps Security Forces NSB Kings Bay, Ga (1st plt), 3rd Bn., 4th Mar. (K Co),  and SOI West (ITB, MCIC).  In May of 2005 I was deployed for a year in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and was one of ten members of a Military Transition Team (MTT 10) that was stationed in Ramadi, Iraq to train the new Iraqi Army.
Prior to enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, I spent a majority of my time hunting and guiding (mainly turkey and deer), and shooting in different competitions such as compound bow, and trap and skeet.  I had also spent a great deal of time studying about game animals (from squirrels to Cape buffalo), and the many different tactics to hunt each of these animals in their native habitats.
Now in the USMC, I am currently stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC with the 4th MEB Anti-Terrorism Bn.  Prior to this assignment, I was an Instructor Trainer for the School of Infantry.  Previous to that, I was an Instructor for MOUT (Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain) and Close Quarters Marksmanship techniques.  I have also taught many other subjects such as land navigation (map reading, working with compasses, etc.), patrolling, ambushes, offensive and defensive operations, and the firing and operation of many different weapons systems used throughout the Marine Corps.
As for other training, I am an eight time high expert with the M-16A2 service rifle and a five time expert with the M-9 pistol.  I have shot in major USMC competitions with both weapons while on the 29 Palms Rifle and Pistol Shooting Team.  I have attended HRST (Helicopter Rope Suspension Trainer) school, Division MOUT school, and am a CCIT(Close Combat Instructor Trainer) as well as being a black belt in the MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program).
As far as ghillie suits go, I have built over several dozen, different style suits and have numerous of my own, all of which are the different styles that are available on this sight.  I have spent endless hours dealing with, experimenting and constructing the different suits and have had great input from snipers of the past and present.  I also know and have dealt with the instructors at the Marine Corps Scout Sniper School (West) and have learned a great deal from them, along with many others that have a wealth of knowledge and experience to pass on.
