CSHP5

Today started off to be a pretty slow day for Detective James Ellison. He decided to spend some time doing some paperwork. Might as well work on it, he couldn't try to pawn it off on Sandburg because his partner was at school. But, he made the decision to do something before he started the usual paperwork, he did as he had told Blair that he would. It had become almost customary to do a background check on all of the dates of choice of his guides. So, he was at his desk on his computer looking up any and all information that he could find on a Dr. Deana Greenwood PhD.

Jim didn't find a criminal record on Dr. Greenwood. She was one of the most spotless people that he had ever seen on a computer search. She like Blair had started university at a young age and quickly passed through the achedemic ranks per se. Maybe, just maybe, Sandburg had met a good woman for a chance.

"Hey Jim, what has your attention there? I haven't seen you so intent on the screen of that thing." Captain Simon Banks asked as he walks up to Jim's desk with a puzzled look on his face.

"Sandburg just started dating a new woman yesterday." Simon understood everything now.

"So, what is it this time? Secret agent, mob leader, evil scientist?" Banks asked laughing.

"No sir, but according to what Sandburg says, she is a telekinetic." Jim said knowing that even Simon would have a hard time believing him.

"Telekinetic?" Simon said giving his star detective an incredulous look.

"Yes, Simon, and I have to believe him. He pulled the "If you can be a sentinel....." line on me too. So, I think that it must be true." Jim said as he looked at his captain's face turn amazed.

"Well under these circumstances, I think that your background check was very much warrented. I hope that this doesn't blow up in the kid's face though. He needs a good woman for a change." they both laugh. Then as Simon keeps laughing, Jim has a strong vision of a wolf, and a tiger being chased through a strange building by a snake. Simon notices that his friend is not laughing with him and sees the trance-like expression on his face. "Jim, oh no not a zone out. Jim, snap out of it!"

Jim shakes his head and sways a little. "Whoa, what was that?!"

"What, that wasn't a zone out?" Simon says puzzled.

"I think I just had a vision, Simon."

"You mean like those you have when your dreaming? You had a vision now, while awake?"

"Yeah, sir, I know. I have never had a vision when I was awake before. It was about Sandburg's wolf, and a tiger being chased down a hall in a place I have never seen before by a snake. I think that Blair might be in trouble. I have to go to him now."

Blair and Deana had decided for the second day in a row to have lunch together. They enjoyed each others company and spent as much time as they could together. Blair had gotten the both of them lunch and they were now eating in a courtyard behind Hargrove Hall. They were laughing at something that Deana had said to Blair when Jim comes walking up to where they were sitting. Just before he reaches the center of the courtyard he sees a tiger sitting next to Deana. Just then he realizes that the tiger is her spirit guide. Dr. Greenwood was also in danger. He had to get the both of them to safety.

"Hey, Jim! What's up?" Blair asks.

"Blair. Dr. Greenwood?" She nods as Jim asks her name, "my name is Detective James Ellison. I have reason to believe that you and Dr. Sandburg are in danger."

"What, Jim? What is this about. How do you know we are in danger?" Blair says as he starts gathering their things.

"I will tell you as soon as I can. Let's go." Jim escorts the two doctors to his pickup. When Dr. Greenwood is in the truck he turns to Blair and says, "I had a vision, I saw your and Dr. Greenwood's spirit animals being chased down a corridor of a strange building by a snake."

"What do you mean, you had a vision?" Blair said, his eyes getting as big as quarters.

"I was in the bullpen doing some work on the computer and BAMB! I get a clear vision of the two of your spirit animals in danger. When I walked up to get you I saw Dr. Greenwood's spirit guide and it was a tiger, like in my vision."

"You mean to tell me that you had a vision and you were awake when you had it!"

"That's it. "

"You know what that means? That means that your sentinel abilities are getting stronger. Your sixth sense in particular. That means that you will probably not need to see visions in your sleep."

"Well, I would like to discuss this sometime later Chief, now I think that we should get the two of you to a safe house and then we will decide what do to later."

"Right." and they both get in the truck with Dr. Greenwood and head off to the loft and ten to Deana's warehouse to fetch some clothes for them all to wear.

Using the aid of her Com-Link Ring Emma heard everything. She then told Adam everything that she had heard.

"From what I sense I don't think that either Dr. Sandburg or Det. Ellison are any danger to Dr. Greenwood."

"Alright, I want you and Brennan to follow them and keep an eye on them. If the detective is a sentinel like Dr. Sandburg's undergrad paper said, I think that it might be best that we know every thing that we can about the Det. Ellison and Dr Sandburg. If we can trust them they could be an important allies to have." Adam said and signed off.

"Brennan!" Emma said getting her fellow teammates attention, "Lets go, I will fill you in on the way." They then took of in Emma's Audi and followed the truck making sure not to be noticed.
