The very first Haken born came from a Drake and a Dragon. It's mother was Carele, a Mixed Elemental Drake, and it's father, Gegory, a Mixed Elemtal Dragon. The Hakens other siblings looked like Drakes, or Dragons, but this one was the runt in the group. Her name was Serenity. As time passed, more Hakens appeared in the magickal worlds, but Serenity is the oldest one you'll ever find. No wings, but arms and legs, she is also the biggest and strongest. Almost like A Queen.
As time grew past, the Hakens learned to speak all the lanuages, use their powers, an so on. Thats when they learned of the outside worlds from their own. Traveling just about everwere they could go, they began to die out. Hakens can ony live if they have a bondmate. Without them, their races will die out. Thats when three new types of Hakens came up. The Magick. The Guardians, and the Knights. But they still needed Bondmates. The last two living Magick Hakens, Sarcor and Aleryain found a wild clutch, maybe of all three types. It is unknown.
The Magick Type: The Magick Type of Hakens is the smallest and most smartest. They mostly have no arms or wings, and only two hind legs. Their Magick comes from their Elements. If they are a mix, then their magick is mixed between the two and made into a new Element. This only happens when a Element is bred with another type of Elements. Magicks like living in forests, near lakes, and plains. They are very smart and always stay close to their Bondmates. They also dont talk much either, but are very loyal and brave.
The Guardian Type: The Guardian Type is much diffrent from the Magick Type. They are the second biggest. The Guardians guard only their Bondmates, and their friends if need be. Their Magick as well is also strong, but not as strong as the Magick type. They have wings, no arms, and two hind legs. They also have Elemental Orbs, instead of just normale Elements. These Orb control their powers, and bind them to their chosen Bondmates. They can only get this Orb when full adults. They like just about any place, but mostly like water and rain.
The Knight Type: The Knights are like Protectors, but protect the Guardians and Magick. They are all very loyal and brave, and would do anything at all cost to protect their bondmate and mate, as well as children. They came from the Royal line, made to protect Serenity at all costs, and it has worked. They have no wings, both arms and hind legs, and only the males have armor.They like Castled areas, Forests, Lakes, the Sea, Desert. just about anywhere where their Bondmate lives.
Stages: Hatchling- The Hatchling stage is when the Hatchling chooses it's bondmate. ( I know, sounds like a Weyr, but it's not ) When they hatch, it's their choice who they will pick, and no one elses. If a Hatchling is left alone, it will die within 2 hours. Sad, but yes, this has happend befor. The Bondmate must link their mind to their Hatchling inorder to be bonded. They mostly like to sleep all the time. They will stay like this for two weeks.
SubAdult- The SubAdult stage is where they go to Hatchling to a teenager. All SubAdults are diffrent. They will also learn their Element ( or Orb ) By this time. No two Hakens look alike, unless they are twins. This is also the stage when they may play fight inorder to win a female when they become Adults. ( No flights. Battles ) They are also more grumbyer then befor, and like to get out more. It's hard to keep any type under control. 2 Weeks befor Adults
Adult- The Adult Stage is the last stage in a Hakens life. They must have a bondmate, or they will die. This is also when the Males and Females can find mates to have their own clutch with. The Clutch size depends on how well their pages were made, and so on. Confusing really. ;P If you abandond your Haken at this stage, they WILL die no matter what, so please dont, it would break my heart.
Knight size: Knights are the size of large tall horses. They were bred this way so that they would be able to protect the Empress and the empirer. They are more like guards and if you get just afew in a bunch, you get a horse size army on your hands.
Guardian Size: They are the size of ponys. They arn't great in battle's, so it's their magick that does the talking for them. Their wings are large enough to carry their bodies as well.
Magick Size: These little cuties are the size of house cats. Sometimes the size of a large breed dog, but rarely. They are able to squeeze through many small and thin things, which neither the Knights or Guardians can do. They are also lighter. They arn't great at magick or battles, but they are wonderfull at setting up traps.
The biggest sizes for all: The biggest size for the Knights is Empress Serenity's size. She was the size of an elephant ( Not fat! Just tall! ) She was the best empress there was, till the great war, which toke away her life. But still, she holds the record for the largest Haken ever. But her daughter, Valora, now holds the seconded biggest, at the size of a very large horse, who is now the new emrpess. Imaging this: A horse, standing at 17 hands at the shoulder. Make that 17 into a 20 and you got yourself a Valora. Plus the neck and tail.
The biggest record for the Guardians is the size of a horse. No one know's it's name, but it was writen down in one of thw scroll books. 14 hands at the shoulder, a large Guardian at that. That would mean that it's wings would be twice that size inorder to carry the body in flight.
The biggest record size for the Magick is still unknown, as they don't normaley grow larger then house cats. There have been remors of a Magick being the size of a very large breed dog or cat, but no one is able to remember sense this was many years ago. Both Aleryian and Sarcaro are the size of small breed dogs, but they do not hold the record.
