Field of Dreams trip

These are some pics from the trip to the "Field of Dreams" movie site from July 31, 2000. The farm is located just outside of Dyersville Iowa or about twenty five miles west of Dubuque Iowa. The farm and baseball field has remained virtually unchanged since the movie was shot here in the summer of '88. There are a few small gift shops that have been built on the farm. There are all kinds of suveniers that are available. We played catch out in left field for awhile. We also batted a few balls around. It was pretty cool just being there. This place sees quite a bit of tourists every day. We were there on a weekday afternoon and there were about a dozen people there. I recommend anyone to go see this place. It was worth the trip.
