Welcome to the Girl Scouts of the Deep South Council, Inc. Web site. We are located in historic Mobile, Alabama, at the head of the Mobile Bay, thirty-one miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Our Council provides resources for 8 counties in the surrounding Southwest Alabama region. A 300 year-old history, deltas rich with wildlife, and the sugary white beaches of the Gulf Coast are highlights of our area.
Almost 9,000 girls and adults participate in the Girl Scouts of the Deep South Council. Facilities include administrative offices, a Volunteer Center and shop, and two camp properties. Council, troop, and group activities take place at all locations, with many council-sponsored girl events and training taking place at our outdoor facilities.
