The Joseph Goodfellow Family |
Joseph was the oldest child of James Goodfellow and Mary Peery. We have some information which shows he was married to Mary McCurdy, but so far, this marriage is not confirmed and no information about Mary McCurdy has been found. Joseph & Mary had several children - the exact number is not known. At some point in time, Joseph left Ireland and moved to Scotland. At least one of his children was born near Glasgow. Joseph was the family wanderer !! We think his wife died in Scotland and after his children / relatives were firmly established in Canada and the US, he spent his later years traveling between them all. He died in Dorchester, New Hampshire in 1908 at the age of 96. He is buried in Cheever's Cemetery, near Dorchester. |
