We headed towards Savannah, along the way we stopped at a McDonalds for a fast breakfast. Our schedule to tour the Juliette Low home was set for 9:00 a.m.

After touring the Birthplace, we walked several blocks away to the Girl Scout National Headquarters. The headquarters is still being used by the Girl Scout Council of Savannah. It is located behind the Andrew Low House where Juliette lived for many years with her husband Willy Low.
A lot of troops perform their Birthplace pinning at this location. Check inside the Birthplace store for a copy of how to do the Birthplace Pinning Ceremony to become a sister of the home.

Sitting in the very spot that the first Girl Scouts sat during their first meeting in the United States.
After visiting the headquarters we walked back to Wrights Square. The Blimpies restaurant was right across the street. We had pre-ordered our lunch. We picked it up and took it back to the park at Wrights Square where we had lunch.

The Tomochichi Boulder at Wrights Square represents the gravesite of the Indian Chief Tomochichi, who helped in the founding of Savannah.
we met our own "Birdman" while sitting in the park. It was just like a scene in the movie "Home Alone". The birdman place feed into the girls hands and the birds jumped onto their arms eating out of their hands. After feeding the pigeons he then offered hand sanitizer to the girls to clean their hands.
The guide from our Ghost/Carriage tour on Friday night told us the legend of this stone.
Girl Scouts from all around come to visit this spot. It is told that if a Girl Scout runs around the stone backwards three times chanting Tomochichi and they still remain above ground that they are proven to be a loyal and true Girl Scout. If they disappear....
OUR GIRLS MADE IT!!
