Troop 329 Goes International!
First stop, Barcelona!
It all started as a dream ... a hope ... a plan.
Five years later it became a reality.
We're here...but where is our luggage?
Next... a coach ride to Monserrat.
Cathedrals, museums, the metro, shopping, Gaudi..We saw it all! And we "broke the back of jet lag!"
See, right there...isn't it cool?!
Can we see the Black Virgin?
After that, we visited Gerona, a walled Spanish town.
Back on the bus and on to Cerbere, France for dinner and to board the night train to Nice.
We made it up a hundred stairs with our luggage!
We arrived in Nice on Bastille day. After dropping off our luggage and having breakfast, we set out to explore the French Riviera.
In a daze...we need a shower and a nap!
Most of us got our second wind by the time we made it to the market. Back to the hotel for a quick shower and change and we were off again. There was a parade to watch and a beach to discover! However, a few of us took a "spa" day. We ended our stay in Nice with fireworks on the beach.
Come on in...the water is fine!
We left Nice the next morning and began to make our way to Italy. But first, a stop at Fragonard, a perfume factory...ooh la la.
