Learning new things can be fun!
As Girl Scout we have learned a lot of new things...
outdoor skills...rock climbing...crafts...cooking...
how to work together as a team...and many more.
Whatever we are learning, we always seem to have fun
as we try new things!
We did a values clarification activity and found that we all seemed to have a lot in common.
We still make a mess when we try out a new craft but now we clean-up after ourselves!
We learned to face our fears and support each other as we challenged a high ropes course.
Focusing on other culters, we learned what it was like to be a teenager in Europe when we took a visiting exchange student out to dinner.
Then we each chose a culture and researched womens roles, clothing, and daily activities.
Our research spanned the globe,
from Europe to Africa,
from the Pacific Islands to Central America.
