Ernest the Chicken

To start this quest you must have the following:

Start this quest by talking to the woman at the path leading to Draynor Mansion. She tells you that her husband never came from Draynor Mansion and pleads you to find him for her. Head up to Draynor Mansion and go in. Go upstairs and go up the ladder to the left. Speak to the professor about Ernest and he'll tell he needs some machine parts to change him back. Climb down the ladder and find the box of fish food on the ground on the south side of the house. Then go downstairs and go to the kitchen. Grab the poison and use it on the fish food. You should get poisoned fish food. Hold on to it for now and go to the library near the kitchen. Search the bookcase and go through. Go down the ladder where you'll find a series of doors. You have to pull a series of levers in a certain order to navigate the doors and success fully reach the oil can. Here are the steps:

1. Pull Lever A and B and go through the door nearest to the ladder.

2. Pull lever D and go through the lower-left door from the lever. Go through the bottom door in this four door room.

3. Pull Lever A and B again and go back through the door you came in.

4. Head through the western door and then the upper door. Pull both levers and head through both the eastern doors.

5. Pull Lever C and go back through those two doors and pull Lever E. Go east one door, go south 2 doors, and go to the western doors to get your oil can.

Next, head to the left side of the house and enter the gardening shed by the kitchen and grab a shovel. Go out the door and head all the way to the left outside of the house and find the cabbage patch. Go to the compost pile and dig in it to find a key. Hold on to this. Next go to the south from the cabbage patch walkin near the fence and find the fountain. Use the posioned fish food on it and wait until the pirahnas die, and then grab the pressure guage. Finally head through the front door and find the closet near the stairs and use the key you have on the door. Go inside and either kill the skeleton or quickly grab the rubber tube. Either way, get it and get out the closet. Take the parts to the professor and finish the quest! Enjoy your 300 gp award!
