Sophie Marceau as Elektra King
Elektra King is one of the villains in the movie The World is Not Enough. In the beginning of the movie, Elektra is shown at her father's funeral, grieving over her loss. The next time she is shown is when Bond goes to visit her in Azerbaijan, where she is building the oil pipeline that her father started. While Bond is there, he goes with Elektra to check the service pipes. After an attack on Elektra, they are both shown in a casino, in which Elektra looses $1 million to Valentin Zukovsky. Elektra's next appearance is when she calls M at MI6 and asks her to personally come out to Baku. When M finally comes, and Bond and Dr. Jones go to stop the bomb, Elektra kills all the other unimportant people in the room, and kidnap M. When Gabor and her other henchmen capture Bond and Dr. Jones, Elektra has fun and puts Bond in her torture chair. When Zukovsky’s men overrun her lair, she flees upstairs, with Bond close on her heels. When Elektra finally reaches her bedroom, she tries her slow talking to persuade Bond not to kill her. Bond, being smart, shoots her, right in the heart.
