| Understanding the New Graduation Requirements Beginning with the Class of 2005, a Local Diploma will not be available for most* students. Sutdents will be able to earn either a NYS "New" Regents or a NYS Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. |
| Minimum Regents Exams Needed to Pass (Minimum Score 65%) "New" Regents Diploma Students will need to pass the following Regents Exams: Comprehensive English Global History and Geography US History and Government Math A Science (any 1 of 4) |
| Advanced Regents Diploma In addition to the Regents Exams that need to be passed, students will also need to pass: Math B 2nd Science Exam Foreign Language (a) (a) Students may replace 3rd unit of Foreign Language and Regents Exam with a 5 unit vocational or agricultural sequence. |
| Regents Diploma and Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors Students may graduate with Honors by obtainig a 90% or better average on Regents Exams. |

| SAFETY NET* Students under the Committee on Special Education up to and including the Class of 2008 are eligible to take an RCT after failing a required Regents Exam. Upon successful completion of the RCT and other graduation requirements, the student will be eligible to earn a Lowville Academy and Central School Local Diploma |
