This is the story of seven Georgetown graduates in their "freshman year of life."

Billy is a married-because-it-was-the-right-thing-to-do party boy who can't hold down a job. Wendy's in love with Billy, but can really only express it by subsidizing his partyboy lifestyle. Their weekends are spent partying with Alec and Leslie - the "couple most likely to couple" - but Leslie doesn't want to commit until her career is rolling, and Alec, a Democrat moonlighting on the Republican dark side, is having fidelity issues. Roomies Kirby and Kevin are the yin and yang of love: Kirby pursues it hotly when he's reunited with his freshman year crush, and Kevin smolders as an obituary writer pondering the Meaning of Life while nursing his unrequited feelings for Leslie. The life spark of the gang is the 'fabulous' Jules... the coke-snorting, boss-screwing, flighty one who's currently saddled with a dying "stepmonster."

The party life turns sour when Leslie learns of Alec's screwing around, and Jules' financial life comes crashing down around her. How will the family of friends transition into real-life?
