Welcome once again.

My name is Anthon Kiong. I have been playing the guitar for 17 years.... and still very actively playing. My favourite gutiarists are Steve Vai and Andy La Rocque from King Diamond.

I live in Pasir Ris, with my little home studio for giving guitar lessons... you will see the pictures in the gallery section.

I have a wide influence in terms of guitar playing, I do a lot of rock and roll, blues and especially experimental guitars. I believe that as a instrumentalist, you need to understand all genres of music. I personally think that to play guitar, it requires a wee bit of talent, but a lot of patience. Most people cannot get through that stage, since sometimes fundamentals do put them off. Well, if you really want to play the guitar decently, it is time to change that mentality. Oh, and learning guitar also requires the player to explore in their own time on other techniques and even read up on magazines and self help books. It sure goes a long way.

Favourite and most used scales are melodic minors, dominant 7th and appreggios. Most of all, I am a minor man... :)
