I've been living in the Atlanta, GA. area since my family moved here 17 years ago, but I don't consider myself an Atlanta native. My home before that was Orange Park, Fl.

I was married for just over 3 years, but it ended in divorce when I found out she was having an affair with my (now) ex-best friend. So, for about the last year, I have been living in a small apartment with my dog.

Since then, I have had to go back onto the whole "dating-scene". I hate it. I'm not comfortable with who I am, and as a result, I find it very difficult to try to be myself when I meet people. This really came to a head with my last relationship I was in. But, they say (who the heck are "they" anyway? "They" sure seen to know a lot, huh?) that acknowledging the problem is the first step to recovery. So, we are taking some time off to work on our troubles. Hopefully, no matter how things turn out, we will both grow from the experience.
