This example isn't as much a lesson as it is a quick little technical trick to get you thinking. If you listen very closely to the example (The intro to the Black Crowes song "She talks to Angels") You can make out a slight drop in pitch when I hit the open harmonics. Oh.. this might help you out a little with the Tab... You should be in open E tuning. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, it means you should tune your guitar From low pitch to high as follows: E B E G# B e . Got that? If not email us and we'll help you out.

Anyway, to get the pitch to drop I'm hitting the harmonic open chord and then bracing the guitar body with ny right hand and pushing out on the end of the headstock with my left hand. I saw Monte Montgomery do this on stage and it sounded great. Again, feel free to email the Syndicate if you have any questions. Keep Practicing. And remember you control the technique, it doesn't control you.
