Steve's Starflier Review

Everyone starts with a Starflier, so I thought I'd take a look at what this lil puppy can do when you push it to the limit!

Inferiority Complex
It's small and weak.. we know this. Two Class 2 and one Class 3 weapon mount means it packs the lightest punch in Sirius. But look closer.. it turns fast and is a small target.. so in the hands of a good pilot and with the right equipment it can hold its own for quite a while. Missiles don't use power, so strap one on there!

Lala
1100 hull points means the Starflier relies on its Class 3 shield for most of its protection. Let's face it folks, the first good hit from a full rack of Lavablades and you're history. With 10repair units and a cargo bay of 20, it's not a good ship to stick with unless you're docking regularly to sell loot. Missions in and around NY are a good way for a Starflier pilot to make some cash, so until you can afford something better.. save up those credits!

Summary
You may not stick with it for long, but you'd be at fault for forgetting about this feisty little blighter. The Starflier is the perfect new pilot's ship. It gives you a taste of what's to come, a mere glimpse at the capabilities of the light fighter class. The next time you find yourself in one of these ships, take the time to go on an adventure and see how long you can survive if you make the effort to fit your Starflier with the right equipment. You might be pleasantly surprised. I was!
