WRITING GUNN

Not much is known about Gunn’s past, all that we do know is that he had a sister named Allona, who was bitten by a vampire and was killed by Gunn himself. The two siblings had been living alone on the streets for sometime before he was introduced as a character on the spin-off Angel.
He ran his own gang of demon killing teens who also lived on the streets, and helped look out after the local teen center. Angel approached him and asked him if he would like to help out Angel Investigations with Wesley, Cordelia and himself. He accepted helping out every so often and then soon permanently started helping out and forgetting his gang. The gang had started to get out of control and killed random demons even if they weren’t causing trouble. After losing one of his best friends in a battle he left the gang in the capable hands of another friend. While Cordeila was in the Hosts dimension of Pylea Angel was going to hand over Angel Investigation over to Gunn in case they were not able to make it back , he left the message on his answering machine , before they were going to go into the portal Gunn jumped in and told them he had also wanted to go. Landing in Pylea they soon figure out that Cordelia had been made ruler. They bring back a girl who had been missing named Winifred Burkle, or Fred for short. She and Gunn become more important in the series. In recent episodes it shows that there is a romance blooming between them, especially in the episode Waiting in the Wings where Angel forces him to dress up in a suit and go to the ballet with the tow characters share a kiss.

GUNN RELATIONSHIPS

Faith: Children of the streets both of these characters are hard on the outside some somewhere there is a soft spot they have. The relationship for these two is hard to write since either of them has had an onscreen meeting. Writing them will take a bit of skill and you’ll have to write about their common experiences of their pasts (like them meeting earlier during her travels or meeting over a common fighting ground.)
