This is what happens when people our age, inexperienced drivers to say the least, try to defy gravity and the laws of Newton. What were they thinking? It makes me so angry when I think, no I KNOW, that this could have been avoided. That their lives might still be here today had they been smarter, had they not let their pride get to them. I know that the passengers of the car must have spent the last three seconds of their life pleading for the driver to stop. I don't care if you are offended by this. I am even more outraged that so many lives have to die before people begin to remember that people are just as vulnerable in cars. When I hear the students squealing and peeling out of the parking lot thinking that they are God, I hope they remember the fate of Trudy, Jeff, Brian, and John. They didn't have to die. And neither does anyone else by drag racing without experience.

One year since the tragedy happened. I am still shocked and horrified that TC is no longer here with us, not here to shine his smile on us, to laugh and cry with us. Unbelievably, it has been one year. One year of pain, of mourning. But we have given TC a special place in our heart and we know that he's all of our guardian angels. Let us pay our respects to his family.
