ARMOURY
INLINE AK
GPAK
I set the HOP high, due to the lack of cover. Therefore an increased chance of long range engagements. As this was a training WEEKEND we enforced a compulsory FULLAUTO BAN. Yes semi only. So this would be a good test for a SPOTTER RIFLE.

Straight away, Lee noticed the reduction in his manoeuvrablility, compared to
IVAN (without stock). While accounting for itself well in accuracy, I noticed my lack of speed with a more encumbering gun. Which is fine if you are set up on Ambush, but a hinderance when movement was required to "get the TAG." Opponent's agreed it was quieter with the FOAM suppressor and some didn't even hear me even though I had put 10 rounds down on them from 50m.

Indeed on the night game, the INLINE dominated the field. Mainly due to the good WIDE ANGLE and low mag of the scope. Lee engaged opponents out to 60m! With very limited return fire. As they could not see me. Indeed, the laser was great when I wanted opponents to move. Yet the best shots were without the LASER (I wanted them to stay still). Including a 35m single shot tag against a skylined target. And a 3 round TAP scoring all 3 at 30m on an unaware opponent.

The third role for this AEG was as a Support gun. However, due to the AUTOBAN, it was only used for suppression on semi. I already rate semi as a great suppression tool. But in honesty, I found the gun slower to bring on target than the stockless version. The added encumberance often resulted in me being pinned more than my opponent. Although, often the shots I put down did count. Steering it's role back to a SPOTTERS RIFLE.

I like a long rifle as much as the next man, but this to me enforced my opinion about shorter guns being more PRACTICLE. Even with the BIPOD removed, the gun is hefty.  I am convinced that I could have made all of the shots without the stock. I will remove the stock and put it in my bits box....

Playing with my SPORTER is encumbering enough. Especially when crawling...
This stock was created with the intention to replicate the ergonomic shooting position common to M4's (or in my day XM's). The idea was to make a short stock, that was not at an angle to the main chassis. Inother words an "INLINE" gun.

Lee put the gun to it's paces on LOWNORTH camp for a 2 day TRAINING EVENT. Here's what he thought to it:
SPOTTER
odd couple!
Yes, I aren't keen on large full sized ASSAULT RIFLES. But hey, I'm the one on the RIGHT! I'm built for speed and stealth, not carrying HEAVY LOADS.
