121th GuruPooja of Saint Gurulinga Thevar
The 121th Gurupooja of Mahan Sri Gurulinga Swamigal is to be held on eleventh of december (10/12/2007).
We welcome all Shiva Bhaktas and Sadhakas to be present in this grand occasion and receive the blessings of Gurulinga Swamigal.
A lot of programmes and functions are to be held on swami's gurupooja including the Veedhi ulaa(procession) of swami's utsavar.
Sri Sakunthala Ammaiyar who looked after the Jeeva samadhi shrine of Gurulingaswamigal for more than 50 years, attained Maha samadhi on 03.03.2006 at the age of 87.
Attention: Currently we have renovated 3 jeeva samadhi temples that of Gurulinga Swamigal, Thadikara Swamigal and Kuzhandaivel Swamigal in Chennai. Surely the divine will call us for renovating other poorly maintained jeeva samadhi temples. We need an spiritually inclined and totally devoted young person who does not expect returns in money to perform daily puja for all the Jeeva Samadhi temples. However we guarantee that the person's spiritual growth will be colossal.
