From the short, but exquisitely made Italian Mafia movie, That's Amore, G.D. Productions is once again revisiting the use of an Italian Mafia. Only this time the FBI are around the corner, and the local Mexican Mafia aren't to thrilled about loosing business. In Between Wars, scheduled for a Summer 2002 release, we enter the fast paced world of drugs and cartels. When Tijuana's Mexican Mafia starts loosing customers to their new neighbors, the Trevino's, an all out war is waged against each other for control of the Los Angeles drug market. The Trevino's traveled from the struggling Brooklyn-based drug borough to LA in hopes of keeping the family together while refilling their wallets, but upon arrival they learned they had some competition.
