Training Officers Biographies


Just a quick webpage to introduce the 3 Vikings training officers who will be running the steel combat training course at Kelsey Short Youth Camp at Smithville Lake next June.

Guthroth Of Colanhomm (Pete James).
Steel weapon combatant since October 1982. Joined the Vikings in 1984, Regia Anglorum in 1994, SCA in 2001.
Steel qualified in: Hand weapon (Sword, Axe, Seax) and shield, One-handed spear and shield, Two-handed spear, Crossbow
Regia qualified in: 2-handed spear and shield.
SCA Authorised in Sword and Shield
Vikings Authenticity officer (RCT) since 1995, Training (RTT) officer since 2000, First Aider.
Major events: Hastings 1984, 1990, 1995, 2000, Maldon Millenium 1991, Lindisfarne 1200 1993, Roskilde/Moesgard 1994, Dublin 1999, Estrella War 2002.

Thorolf of Draegtun (Geoff Saltmarsh).
Steel weapon combatant since October 1982. Joined the Vikings in 1984.
