VOX

The VOX was a device used for comunication.  In ways it was similar to the walkie-talkie or something of that nature.  It has a very long range although its exact limit is unknown.  The entire senior staff of the NSEA Protector were issued one and it was worn on their belts as often as possible.

Notice the difference between the two voxes.  The one on the left is a toy or replica.  The one on the right is the actual NSEA issued version.
