WOMAN IN WHITE
She stands there in her white dress,
Awaiting her cue.
Waiting to say the words, "I Do."
Her hands clasped in anticipation.
She wonders frightenly to herself:
Will he love me, will he want me,
"In sickness and in health."
Then the music begins to play,
She starts on her way to the stage.
There she will meet the man in black,
Together they will speak the words of generations past.
Congratulations God!!!
The woman in white,
Is just another man's wife.
