Not quite sure

what you lacked

but you’re gone

and can't come back

extinct

on loves evolutionary track

You’re a memory

a fuzzy sketch

of theory and bones

never again to be truly known

as time has left it

less easy to construct

although i do suspect

you did exist

for think of you

i do yet
