Disposable We

Don't buy into it

Don't believe

Don't let love

Become like the rest of things

In this disposable society

Treated like the garbage we create

Of useful things

Whose only fault is

They are flawed in some slight way

Because love has its cracks

Don't throw it away

like the things we get rid of

and perhaps should have saved

Don't bag our love

to be picked up and hauled away

Don't let it be thrown away so easily
