Tropical

The Garden

Its' succulent vegetation

A relief from the sun

But not the heavy heat

You have it to yourself

So no need for clothes

Tired you lay

Sprawled on the bench for a rest

Sleeping

you are unaware

sparkling rivulets of sweat trickle

through your body's crevices

forming crystalline puddles

gathering salty moisture in its natural pockets

animals arrive

to quench their thirst

with licks

their tongues' caress

you are awakened
