| Set tank on the stand and plumbed to the sump in the basement. Tested for leaks and leveled. Leveling was accomplished by jacking up the floor in the basement and placing 4X4's for extra support. The pumps were turned on and after sealing a minor drip all of the salt was added. Placed a plastic grill to support the live rock and added 150 pounds of Southdown Playsand and 90 pounds of Caribsea Oolite sand. Added 50 pounds of Gulf-View live rock and later added an additional 150 pounds of Tampa-Bay Saltwater live rock. Rearranged the rock only once and I was very glad I didn't have to do it again. While the tank cycled I wired the lights and set up a quaranteen tank. |
