Happy New Year! |
After Christmas in Minnesota, we left straight for Chicago to bring in the New Year with our friends. We arrived early on Saturday and received an escort from the always hospitable Jay Zimmerman. That afternoon we went out with Jay, Margo, Margo's Mom, Margo's brother Brian and Jay's cousin Shandi (who was visiting from San Fran) for tapas at Cafe Iberico. That evening we enjoyed a house party with many of our friends at Jay and Margo's high-rise apartment, and the next day we met up with Juan, Paul, Sagar and Amy at our favorite Chicago hangout, Ceasar's (of course). Then, on NYE, we grabbed some diner grub and prepared for the evening's festivities. Despite a few parking difficulties and the freezing cold weather, it turned out to be a wonderful New's Year.
Kudos to Brad for a fantastic party. If 2002 if anything like its kick off, it's going to be a very enjoyable -- and memorable -- year. |

All this partying has Shandi, Ben, Jason and Rams worn out. |
