l Rest in peace to the innocent lives lost at the tragic slayings at the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. This is a very difficult time for the students, faculty, and staff at Virginia Tech, as well as the families and friends of the deceased. Pray for them every night, because your prayers are worth more than you can ever imagine.
To the students, faculty, and staff of Virginia Tech - please know that you are in the minds of millions in the United States. While that will not recover the dear losses that you have incurred, I personally hope that it will bring strength to you, much like you demonstrated at the remembrance mass just Tuesday. This day will go down in History, and the souls of the innocent victims will be remembered. May their souls calmly rest in peace. |

l Christina Aguilera proves why she is the reigning chart Queen, securing her third consecutive #1 hit from the "Back To Basics" album. l Carrie Underwood leaps into the top five. l Avril Lavigne waits impatiently outside the top ten. l Joss Stone and Alejandro Sanz make impressive moves for yet another week. l Ne-Yo takes the momentum of his song up a whooping 12 spots, enough to secure "Because Of You" the Jump Of The Week. l Timbaland, Rihanna, and Hilary Duff each experience impressive moves, possibly foretelling of the future top ten of the chart. l Fulanito, a Dominican Merengue/Perico Ripiao group, score the Hot Shot Debut with their addictive "Mira", a song too stripped to be Merengue, but too mainstream to be Perico Ripiao, in a clear attempt to bring interest back to the genre with the youth of the group. Expect big things; these guys have the potential to be for Merengue what Aventura is for Bachata, which is quite a big deal. l Hilary Duff makes an impressive new entry on the chart, even though she already has "With Love" doing amazingly well. Can "Play With Fire" heat things up in much the same way? |
