This Week's CHART COMMENTARY:

l Rihanna claws on mercilessly to the top spot, although Kelly Clarkson proves to be a big threat at #2. l Gwen Stefani holds on right outside the top ten. l Paula DeAnda continues to do her thing, while Kat DeLuna, the Dominican newcomer, continues to make her competition sweat. l Kelly Clarkson continues to make heatwaves with her second single "Sober". l Amy Winehouse sees impressive moves for both of her songs, including "Rehab" which receives a Buzzing title at #31. l Hilary Duff continues to make quite an impression, snatching the Jump Of The Week as she catapults to #33, after a Hot Shot Debut last week. As a result of this, Hilary earns herself the Artist Of The Month feature. Congratulations, Hilary! l Rihanna ironically finishes up the chart, debuting at #40 with "Shut Up And Drive".

l Rihanna maintains her hold on the number one spot. l Fulanito enters the top five for the first time, joining fellow Dominicans El Torito and Aventura. l Kelly Clarkson grabs the Buzzing title as "Never Again" heats up, jumping three spots to number seven. l Antony Santos continues to make nice jumps. l Paula DeAnda keeps her eye on the prize. l T-Pain scores the Jump Of The Week as "Buy You A Drank" soars ahead to #26. l Fergie becomes the artist of the month as "Big Girls Don't Cry" continues to rise. l Beyonce & Shakira keep rising, albeit with an older song. l Elliott Yamin and Enrique Iglesias chug ahead. l Joss Stone scores the Hot Shot Debut for her collaboration with Wyclef Jean, "Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now". l Amy Winehouse joins an elite group of artists who have debuted songs within a short time of another, a list of which includes current charter Hilary Duff.
