Criminal's love that fresh mountain air! Alcatraz Lacrosse fielded a full 25 man roster in Tahoe this year, and it proved to be all they needed. Taking the team into a great semi-final match with the castro's Olympic Club Alcatraz made a point about who they are.
After blowing a 8-1 lead, resulting in a 11-10 loss the criminals were happy to just relax and beat the traffic home. It may not have been the best possible result but, if you are looking for a good time these Criminals know how to find them!
With a mere 14 players traveling for the squad the Alcatraz Criminals made quite an impression in Portland. Day 1 started off with a 14-0 win over Team Addecco. Followed by another victroy over Team Seattle in a great 7-3 game. In the third game of day one the Alcatraz's numbers began to wear thin. Goalie Tommy "hit man" Hunder played an incredible game, expecially considering that he didn't even know his own name after cleaning out the Seattle Attack. In the third game the Criminals were out gooned by Vancouver and their coach.
On day two Alcatraz classfully showed up for the last game and once again stole the show to put them in an overall 5th place finish. Not a bad weekend for 14 washed up old Criminals on the road.
