![]() The last of the plaques is finally here. Say hello to Seiga Junior High School. |
|
![]() The smallest of all the schools, and it shows. This is the "main" entrance. Even though it looks about the size of the teachers entrance at Shiraoka JHS. |
![]() The teachers room here is definitely more spacious than that of Minami. In fact is does seem to be about the same size as Shinozu JHS. |
![]() Like Shinozu, there is a stone out front with some writing on it, and yet again, I'm not going to take the time to translate it. Maybe I will one day. |
![]() As far as I know, Seiga is the only school to have a walkway this long to get to the gym. I think that it's kind of cool walking down the breezeway. |
![]() Continuing in my efforts to photograph the schools, here is the plaque for Shinozu Junior High School. |
|
![]() As far as area goes, it seems that Shinozu rivals Seiga (soon to come), but the funny thing is, is that there are as many students here as there are at Shira-chu (more than 1.5 times that of Seiga). |
![]() Now the desks here seems to be a bit more cluttered than they are at the other schools. It's rather funny to see desks piled so high with papers that you aren't sure a person is sitting there or not. |
![]() Shinozu is the only school that has a statue out front. Of course it is also the newest school in Shiraoka, so I guess that makes a little bit of sense. There's a little more money in this area as well, so they could splurge on extra's like it. I don't know the story behind the statue, but I'll find out one day. |
![]() Yet another plaque at Shinozu, translation to come. |
![]() This is by far the biggest school gym in Shiraoka, and also the nicest. It still doesn't have central heating, so it's bitterly cold in there right now. |
![]() Shinozu was the first school where I actually went to a school wide morning meeting. So I thought that I would take a picture while I was at it. |
![]() The plaque outside of Minami Junior High School. |
|
![]() Here is a shot of the front of Minami along with some second year students that decided to be part of the picture. |
![]() Unlike the teachers room at Shira-chu, the one at Minami is significantly smaller. In fact it is even smaller than the teachers room at Seiga. |
![]() This nifty little walkway is right outside the teachers room. Some of the teachers go out here to smoke, yell at some kids on the adjacent playing field, or do both at the same time. |
![]() I thought that I'd be consistent, so I took a picture of the genkan (entrance). This one is much smaller than the one over at Shira-chu. |
![]() This is the plaque outside of Shiraoka Junior High School. |
|
![]() This is the front of Shira-chu. |
![]() And this is a longer shot of Shira-chu. |
![]() Here is the teachers room at Shira-chu. |
![]() And this is the desk that I can claim as mine for 4 weeks at a time. |
![]() Here is where all the students put their outside shoes. |
![]() I just thought that this was a neat picture, so I took a shot. |
