Oversoul and Group Consciousness

According to many teachings and traditions, when people of life establishes a presence in an area or region, a collective focus of the group, a group entity or group consciousness, also known at an oversoul is ofrmed. Whether this group entity is viewed as a separate spirit or simply as an understanding among conscious beings, its presence makes itself felt in the sense of place and in the habits and manners of those who live in the area or among a dispersed population with a common cultural outlook.
