ACCEPTANCE
Thank You,
God, for the desire of my heart or something even better.
I believe
that God alone knows what is for my highest good. So I do not
expend
energy unnecessarily by trying to force the outcome of "my way" as
the only
way.
In time,
I will understand that God has been working out the details of my
highest
good, all along. I trust God, and although I may ask for my heart's
desire
in prayer, I then add these words: "Thank You, God, for this or
something
better. Amen."
When I
accept each unfolding circumstance as an essential part of God's
answer
to my prayers, I feel at peace and secure. Opening my heart in
acceptance
to a divine solution, I cannot help but be blessed. With my
acceptance
of God's way, I embrace wholeheartedly and gratefully the
presence
and activity of God in my life.
