I Saw A Miracle Today!

I saw a miracle today!  I am soooo excited!
Let me slow down and tell  you all some background.  A little 5 year old girl at my
church broke her leg about 7 weeks ago.
It was a spiral fracture and she could not
walk or put any weight on it at all.
She was in a tiny wheel chair and had to
be carried everytime she had to get out of
it.  Well, she got the cast off last Friday
and her little leg and foot just would
not work.
She had to use a walker which she just
could not get the hang of.
She kept falling over backwards and her
little arms were getting sore.
She tried to go to VBS Monday but could
not keep up so they had to send her home.
Now here is the good part.  She woke up
this morning and told her Mom that
Jesus told her she could walk.  And yes,
you guessed it she is walking, all on
her own!

When her Mom told me in the hall way
this morning, I ran to her room, opened
the door and said "Meredith come here."
She got up and walked to me and hugged
me.
LOL, I interrupted the whole class, but
they are use to me at church.
I hugged her back and asked her what happened!  She told me, Jesus
talked to me, and told me I could walk.
Talk about the faith of a child.
I told her she had her very own miracle
and we both prayed right there
thanking Jesus for touching her and
healing her.
My friends, let me ask you, how simple is
your faith?  Is it like this child?
When Jesus says "you can do______."
Do you start to mull it over right away and
ask for a sign?
Do you have to go to others and ask if this
is really from God and need the
confirmation from three other people?
As we grow up and become adults our
simple faith is replaced with worry,
doubt and even fear.
With all the things yelling for our attention
each day, is  it any wonder that we
cannot hear that small still voice,
the voice of God telling you,
"I have given you what you need for
this day."
We forget as we make plans for the day,
next week or even next year,
that God has only promised us today.
He has given us all the strength we need
to get through this day.  Faith.
Simple faith. The faith of a child is all we
need to live victoriously this day.
He This is a day that the Lord has made,
I will be glad and rejoice in it.

 God Bless you today
