About Me |
My full name is Gynna Loper. My friends call me Gynna (Gina) for short. I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Of Spanish and Chinese ancestry, but my grandparents were both born in Manila. I graduated with a degree in Economics at Saint Paul College, Quezon City, in 1984. I migrated in the U.S. in May of 1986 at Anchorage, Alaska. I lived there for a year and a half. We moved to Seattle, Washington for another year and a half and then moved again to Hilo, Hawaii. I lived and worked there for almost 9 years. I am currently a resident of Idaho, on the northern side. I work for the University of Idaho. To upgrade myself, I am currently taking (slowly but surely) Accounting classes hoping to finish a Masters in Accounting or Finance. I am a complicated person just like anybody else. I can be very sweet and loving most of the time, but at times (especially when I'm stressed) I prefer the solitude. That helps me get myself back. I also love the good things in life, but I enjoy working for the things that I want. I'm not driven by money, but realistic enough to know there is no free lunch. I work hard, but I also play hard. Also ambitious, but I set realistic and attainable goals. I believe in doing my best, but won't kick myself hard if I can only do so much. I have a 6-year old boy, who is the love of my life. I wouldn't know what other reason I'd have for living if I didn't have him in my life. His name is Lance and is a bit spoiled but is a very good kid and I love him very, very, very much. I would have wanted more, but my body can't handle it too well. My attached photo was taken while I was in Seattle. I went to a modelling school and did a little of it as well. It was a fun and memorable time for me. I initially went to school just to improve my personality (posture, walk and poise) Also, get rid of bashfulness. But it turned out more of an experience I'll never forget. I describe myself as a freedom lover, independent, spontaneous, enjoy life to the fullest, open for something new and thrive on change. I also believe in self improvement. I love life and living. I always try to put a touch of positive into my daily living. Keeps me going happy that way... My dream? Someday... I look forward to being able to visit Cancun, Mexico in the future. Or go to the Disneyworld with my little man... |
