You're voice is beautiful, and being of Scotish decent, I was quite pleased at some of your celtic songs, especially your rendition of Scarborough Faire. Roman, your guitar and bass are wonderful. You know how to make your music soar with feeling and emotion and that is something most musicians lack nowadays. I am impressed, I am moved, I am inspired. | M.J. Murphy, location unknown: Even though this file ("Won't Be Wronged" on Mp3.com) skipped and popped like crazy, I was able to get a good impression from this excellent duo. I LOVED the lyrics to this cut. You know, for some odd reason, I pictured Tracey Chapman singing this number (not that they sound like her, but the material would be a good match with her). This is solid stuff. I wish it had more dynamics to it...I wish it built up to a higher peak. She (Cilette) has areal R&B edge to her voice. Cool fretless bass. I think these guys maybe want to be too many things to too many people...they're almost too undefinable. But good. Very good. |
