The second part of our motto states 'to live together as a Christian Community'. We are not a group of 'social workers' and therefore our mission is not concerned only to serve the poor, but to try and live together as Christians accepting others as they are, caring for the needs of our brothers and sisters in the community. Jesus is our guide and to sustain us we have His Word and through the Word we try to live our experience in the joy of giving, of poverty and of living together as the first Disciples did, sharing among ourselves our things, money, time and energy.... in short sharing our LIVES! |
