. . . And once more, a new beginning. . .

Thoughts

Guard your "thoughts" - keep them from
"doubts" and "fear" - accepting only
good. Prepare your mind to receive the
best that life has to offer. Become
increasingly aware of the One Presence,
the One Life, the One Spirit, which is
God.

All sense of lack or limitation should
have no place in your consciousness.
Everything is possible to you, according
to your acceptance and the way Spirit
works through your belief.

author of the book "God First!"

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers,
for by this some have entertained angels without
knowing it." - Hebrews 13:2

We are each of us angels with only one wing. And we can only fly embracing each other......

This one is from my dear, dear brother-in-love,
Steve (my sister Connie's hubby). . .
He said "Angels fly because they take themselves lightly."
Way to go, Bro.

To believe is to find the strength and courage
that lives within us when it is time
to pick up the pieces and begin again. . .
if only we believe.

You are listening to...
AS I GAZE AT THE STARS

(Introduction)

(Verse 1)
"How do I know?",  Is what they ask of me;
How can I be sure of a God I cannot see?
Then I look up at the stars, the wonders He has made,
and I cry out for joy at the beauty He's displayed.

(Chorus)
And He loves me.
The Creator of all, really loves me
So simple and small.
As I gaze at the stars in the evening sky,
I'm amazed at all I see.
And to think that the One Who made the stars above
Gave His only Son for me!

(Verse 2)
When I look into space the wonder in the skies,
I see beauty and truth and a love that never dies.
And when I look in a drop of water very small
There are worlds within worlds.
His care is with them all.

(Chorus)
And He loves me.
The Creator of all, really loves me
So simple and small.
As I gaze at the stars in the evening sky,
I'm amazed at all I see.
And to think that the One who made the stars above
Gave His only Son for me!

(Ending)
As I gaze at the stars
In the evening sky, I'm amazed at all I see.
And to think that the One who made the stars above
Gave His only Son for me!

A MUST!

Someone asked me recently - why web pages? What possessed
me to make my own web pages? I have one simple answer - it
makes me feel good and makes me happy to know that I touch
people out there, even people I don't know in a positive way. AND,
it's so much fun! It's like being a carpenter. I gather all my tools
and materials and start to build. And when I got myself started, I
could not stop, nor do I want to stop. Need I elaborate?

". . .be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors & aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery & broken dreams, it IS still abeautiful world.
Be careful. Strive to be happy."

My first love was cooking. I remember when I was in fifth
grade, I asked to be excused from school just so I can
watch and help my aunt (who catered my parents' social
function) cook. I just love to cook and bake. I also like to collect
cook books. If you're like me, here's THE place for you -
If you have a recipe or two that you want to
share, please send it my way so I can publish it here.

I wish I can say that my life is one smooth road. NOT! I
have my own share of bumps and curves, here and there
along the way. Last year in August, I lost my mother. When
someone close to us dies, we cry for ourselves and the joy that
has been taken from us. It is then that we remember the person's
special gift that we will never again have. This page is in memory
of her, "For Mommy." Losing her reminded me that LIFE IS SHORT,
so my dear ones, let your loved ones know that you love them.
To quote a poem . . . "If you love me any, if it's but a little
bit... Let me know while I am living; I can own and treasure it..."

Here's more love stuff for all of you lovers out there -
All About Love. I just love this page. I think there's
enough stuff in there to fill and nourish one's heart. Those of
you who have a significant other in your life, always remember
to thank the Lord for your GIFT (for that's what it is), and
don't take it for granted. Treasure that gift. For those who
seem to be on an endless search for that elusive love, please,
don't despair. Love is within our reach, if we just reach out.

Your relationship should be a place
you often retreat to,
not a place to hide from.
Visit the
"LOVE BEARS" for more on this.

People come into our lives to bring us something, a gift, a
blessing or a lesson that we need to learn. . . maybe they
come to stay or maybe they are just passing through... to
give a gift. . . this poem says it all:

SOME PEOPLE

Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
Some people move our souls to dance.
They awaken us to new understanding
with the passing whisper of their wisdom.
Some people make the sky
more beautiful to gaze upon.
They stay in our lives for awhile,
leave footprints on our hearts,
and we are never ever the same.

Reflections of Life to take along. . .

You have not lived today until you have done something
for someone who can never repay you.

Everyone faces disappointments at one time or another -
but the winners are the ones who refuse to let
disappointments become discouragements.

Just think how happy you'd be
if you lost everything you have right now -
and then, got it back again.

Live each day as if it were your last day on earth,
Love as if it were your first day in heaven.

Life is easier than you think.
All you have to do is:
accept the impossible,
do without the indispensable,
bear the intolerable and
be able to smile at anything.

Gifts of the Heart

Trust...
that whatever happens,
there is someone who will understand.

Honesty...
the feeling that
you never need to hold back.

Peace...
in being accepted
for who you really are.

Beauty...
in outlook
more than appearance.

Freedom...
to be yourself,
to change, and to grow.

Joy...
in every day, in every memory
and in your hopes for the future.

Love...
to last a lifetime,
and perhaps beyond.

One last reflection before you go.

Every moment of your life
you are offered the opportunity to choose
- love or fear - to tread the earth,
or to soar the heavens.
Fear would walk you on a narrow path,
promising to take you where you want to go.
Love says. . .
'Open your arms and fly with me'

beginning forever . . . today

Life is fragile. Handle with prayer.
