The House of Butler

A note about the Beecher branch of my family: It was a family tradition that said we were related to Harriet Beecher Stowe. I tried to find a link between my ancestors and Harriet’s half-brother David. After much research (luckily I live near the Harriet Beecher Stowe house, which is next to the Mark Twain House in Hartford, CT – both places worth a trip), I found that we are not connected that closely. If we are, it’s much further back.

What I did find was new information thanks to new-found cousin Sam Franc!!
