
Newbie Guide
- When you first join you MUST register your newly created horses/foals. To do this go to the Registry and fill in a Register A New Horse Form for each horse/foal.
- Your main priority is to look after your new horses and foals. Firstly they need to see the On Duty Vet for checkups and then the On Duty Farrier to have new shoes put on your horses (not your foals).
- You need to get your horses/foals trained in Halter, the On Duty Horse Trainer will be able to train your horses and foals for you.
- Next you will need training for yourself with the On Duty Rider Trainer.
- Don't forget to pay the Vet, Farrier and Trainers at the Cash In Board.
- Once a week you need to post a message on the Activity Board to show that you are still here and active.
- Click on the links to find Listing of All HE Boards, Main Message Board and Member Levels.
- If you want more Haay Points for your horses, they only way is to enter your horses in Shows.
- You can win Haay Dollars and even horses from our Games Room.
- You can get more horses from the For Sale, Auctions, Adoptions and Wild Horse Round Up.
- We have a Post Office where you can 'post a letter' to your boarding stable, a breeding stable or a private stable.
- If you have joined with a stallion and you would like to breed him, he will need to be registered with the HE Stud Book.
- You can join an Association for your horses, to find out what Associations there are go to the Associations.
- Every so offen there will be disasters. If you see a post on the Main Message Board saying "OH NO!" visit the Disasters Page ASAP, something could have happened to you or your horses.
- You can talk to other members in our very own Chat Room.
- To enter shows you will need to buy yourself some riding gear from Riding In Style.
- You will also need your horses Tack from Haay Eaters Tack Shop.
- If your horses are trained for harness, to enter shows they need a Carriage and Harness to enter. To buy these visit Drive Me Buggy.
- Your horses need grooming all the time, entering shows and just a daily groom, to groom them please visit The Grooming Palour.
- Sometimes your horses would love to be pampered for their hard work in shows, giving foals and injuries so why not take them to Tranquil Equine.
- Sometimes in shows they ask for Costumes. You can get this and more at the Show Supplies Shop.
- You need to get transport for your horses to and from shows, when changing stables etc. You can get transport at Equines To Go.
- When you own a private stable, you need to buy food for yours horses at Need To Feed. You do not need to buy feed if you are boarding.
