Shook #1 (rough)

The other day I got shook as I walked in the door,
Down to the core of my bones and the more
Snapped back so fast, I think something tore,
Broke both my ankles & left my jaw on the floor.
I thought to myself, just who could this be,
This face with no name that's just looking at me
As if I just might be someone she wants to see?
Silent and still, she simply stood there
In a dress that looked new and with slightly curled hair,
Her eyes were aglow with highlights they shared.
We said our hello's, then she walked away,
And now when I wake, I die a little each day,
And about this young miss, nothing else can be said
Except for one thing: she's my lady in red.
