The simple lives of teens today
Are mellowed out and calm.
All of us can compare
our lives to a single song.
Thought we're tested everyday
We take it all in stride,
We move with the ebb,
And go with the flow,
Of our changing tide.

I wrote this for english class. I don't remember the assignment, really, but I think it was supposed to be on life in high school or something such as that. I even have my final draft copy (it's nifty-looking, so I saved it)
